The Process

The first thing we do is discuss with you the areas you serve and what services you can provide. We will then let you know what we think the likelihood is that you can realistically rank for those search queries within 6-12 months and what the areas of focus should be.

If you have a current site, then we can do a site audit and optimise the content for your chosen keywords and make sure the site doesn’t have any technical issues that might be affecting organic SEO.

What if I don’t have a site?

If you don’t currently have a site then no need to worry. We can create one for you from scratch as part of the project.

Next Steps

The next step would be to create optimised content for the agreed keywords. This will usually be in the form of webpages on your site that target each set of keywords specifically.

Link Building

The final stage is the off-site SEO which is in the form of building links back to your site from reputable websites. “Reputable” here is a slightly vague term but they tend to be older sites which themselves have quality links linking back to them which Google considers trustworthy. We would also want to obtain links from sites relevant to your niche ie. plumbing, electrician etc.

The long haul

The other thing to consider is that there is no way to rush this process. New websites are generally considered untrustworthy and not worth ranking by Google and other search engines. Also, if we just slammed a new website with a bunch of links, then this would also be interpreted as a bad signal for Google and could get the site blacklisted or sandboxed – something we want to avoid otherwise we’d have to start again.

Once the off-site process has begun, we’ll give you a monthly report on your site’s progress and how your site is performing for the target keywords.

You can expect to wait 3 – 6 months to see early wins, then some decent results after 6 months.
